Text
(a)The board consists of five (5) members
appointed by the governor as follows:
(1)One (1) member who is a medical doctor, osteopath,
podiatrist, or chiropractor, involved in the practice of sports
medicine.
(2)Three (3) members who are athletic trainers engaged in the
practice of athletic training in Indiana for at least two (2) years
immediately preceding their appointment.
(3)One (1) member representing the public who is a resident of
Indiana and who is not associated with athletic training.
(b)In making the appointments described in subsection (a), the
governor shall make appointments according to IC 25-1-6.5-3.
