§ 25-42-3-3 — Applicant requirements
Indiana·Title 25 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS·Art. 42 INTERSTATE NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT·Ch. 3 General Provisions and Jurisdiction
Each party state shall require the following for an applicant to obtain or retain a multistate license in the home state:
(1)The applicant meets the home state's qualifications for
licensure or renewal of licensure, as well as all other applicable
state laws.
(2)The applicant has either:
(A)graduated or is eligible to graduate from a licensing board
approved licensed nurse prelicensure education program; or
(B)graduated from a foreign licensed nurse prelicensure
education program that has been:
(i)approved by the authorized accrediting body in the
applicable country; and
(ii)verified by an independent credentials review agency to
be comparable to a licensing board approved prelicensure
education program.
(3)If:
(A)English is not the applicant's native language; or
(B)the applicant
