§ 25-42-1-2 — "Adverse action"
Indiana·Title 25 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS·Art. 42 INTERSTATE NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT·Ch. 1 Definitions
"Adverse action" means any administrative, civil, equitable, or criminal action permitted by a state's laws that is imposed by a licensing board or other authority against a nurse, including any of the following actions against the nurse's license or multistate licensure privilege:
(1)Revocation.
(2)Suspension.
(3)Probation.
(4)Monitoring of the nurse.
(5)Limitation on the nurse's practice.
(6)Another encumbrance on licensure affecting the nurse's
authorization to practice, including a cease and desist order.
