§ 25-4-1-6 — Application for certificate of registration

(a) A person desiring to engage in the practice
of architecture:
(1) shall apply to the board for a certificate of registration in
compliance with this chapter;
(2) shall submit evidence to the board that the person is qualified
to engage in the practice of architecture in compliance with the
requirements of this chapter, including evidence that the person:
(A) graduated with a professional degree from a school or
college of architecture accredited by the National Architectural
Accrediting Board, Inc., or its successor;
(B) successfully completed the required examination; and
(C) successfully completed the intern development program
required under section 7.5 of this chapter; and
(3) must not have been convicted of:
(A) an act that would constitute a ground for disciplinary
sanction under IC 25-1-11; or
(B) a felony that has direct bearing on the applicant's ability to
practice competently.
(b) The application for a certificate of registration shall be:
(1) made on a form prescribed and furnished by the board;
(2) verified; and
(3) accompanied by a fee established by the board under IC 25-1-8-2.
