§ 25-4-1-3 — Organization and government of board

The board shall organize by the election of a chairman and vice chairman, each of whom shall serve for a term of one (1) year. The first meeting of the board shall be held within thirty

(30)days after the members thereof shall have been appointed, on call of the chairman of the board. Thereafter, the board shall hold at least two (2) regular meetings each year and may hold such special meetings, as the board in its discretion considers necessary or advisable. The time for holding the regular meetings, the method of calling special meetings and the manner of giving notice of all meetings shall be prescribed in the bylaws of the board.
