§ 25-33.5-10-10 — Executive board; membership; removal of member; meetings; duties

(a) The elected officers of the
commission shall serve as the executive board and have the power to
act on behalf of the commission in accordance with the compact.
(b) The executive board shall be comprised of the following six (6)
members:
(1) Five (5) voting members who are elected from the current
membership of the commission by the commission.
(2) One (1) ex officio, nonvoting member from the recognized
membership organization composed of state and provincial
psychology regulatory authorities.
(c) The ex officio member must have served as staff or a member of
a state psychology regulatory authority and will be selected by the
respective organization.
(d) The commission may remove any member of the executive
board as provided in the bylaws of the compact.
(e) The executive board shall meet at least once annually.
(f) The executive board shall have the following duties and
responsibilities:
(1) Make recommendations to the entire commission for any:
(A) changes to the rules or bylaws;
(B) changes to compact legislation; and
(C) fees to be paid by compact states, including annual dues
and other applicable fees.
(2) Ensure compact administration services are appropriately
provided, whether by contract or otherwise.
(3) Prepare and recommend the budget.
(4) Maintain financial records on behalf of the commission.
(5) Monitor compact compliance of member states and provide
compliance reports to the commission.
(6) Establish additional committees, as necessary.
(7) Perform any other duties provided in the rules or bylaws.
