§ 25-31-1-4 — Compensation and expenses of board members

(a)The members of the board shall receive a salary per diem for each and every day, or part of a day, while they are in actual attendance of any meeting of the board, or while they are engaged in the performance of the official business of the board. The salary per diem is in addition to any allowance, prescribed by the laws of the state, for subsistence and travel within Indiana.
(b)Any member of the board, or the secretary of the board, may be authorized by the board to attend any engineering conference, or meeting, held outside of Indiana, the major purpose of the meeting being the consideration of problems directly associated with the registration of professional engineers.
