Text

As used in this chapter: "Department" means the state police department established under IC 10-11-2-4. "Polygraph examiner" means a person who is solely or partly engaged in the business of establishing the truth or falsity of any statement or representation, by means of a polygraph instrument. "Polygraph instrument" means a device that permanently and simultaneously records, at a minimum, an individual's cardiovascular and respiratory patterns and galvanic skin responses in order to determine truthfulness.
