Text

An individual may not:

(1)profess to be a physician assistant;
(2)use the title "physician assistant", including the use of the title by a physician who is not licensed under IC 25-22.5; or
(3)use the initials "P.A." or any other words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating or implying that the individual is a physician assistant licensed under this article; unless the individual is licensed under this article. However, use of the initials "PA" by a public accountant who is authorized to use the initials "PA" by IC 25-2.1-12-6 is not a violation of this section.
