9.
(a)"Collaboration" means overseeing the
activities of, and accepting responsibility for, the medical services
rendered by a physician assistant and that one (1) of the following
conditions is met at all times that services are rendered or tasks are
performed by the physician assistant:
(1)The collaborating physician or the physician designee is
physically present at the location at which services are rendered
or tasks are performed by the physician assistant.
(2)When the collaborating physician or the physician designee is
not physically present at the location at which services are
rendered or tasks are performed by the physician assistant, the
collaborating physician or the physician designee is able to
personally ensure proper care of the patient and is:
(A)immediately available
