Text
(a)The board shall do the following:
(1)Pass upon the qualifications of physical therapists who apply
for licensure and physical therapist assistants who apply for
certification.
(2)Provide all examinations either directly or by delegation under
subsection (c);
(3)Determine the applicants who successfully pass examinations.
(4)License and certify qualified applicants.
(5)Adopt rules concerning the competent practice of physical
therapy to the board.
(b)The board shall adopt rules establishing standards for the
competent practice of physical therapy.
(c)The board may approve and utilize the services of a testing
company or agent to prepare, conduct, and score examinations.
(d)The board shall adopt rules concerning a continuing competency
requirement for the renewal of a:
(1)licens
