Text
(a)Except as provided in subsection (b),
information relating to the physical therapist-patient relationship is
confidential and may not be communicated to a third party who is not
involved in the patient's care without the written authorization of the
patient.
(b)The physical therapist-patient privilege does not extend to cases
in which the physical therapist or physical therapy assistant has a duty
to report information as required by law.
