(a)The prescription drug donation
repository program is established. The program allows a person to
donate prescription drugs and supplies to a central repository or local
repository for use by an individual who is an eligible recipient.
(b)The board (IC 25-26-13-3) shall administer and maintain the
program.
(c)The board may establish a central repository that accepts
donated prescription drugs and supplies, conducts a safety inspection
of the prescription drugs, and ships donated prescription drugs and
supplies to a local repository.
(d)The board may contract with a third party to implement and
administer the program.
