7.
(a)Before a pharmacy may operate an
automated dispensing system, the automated dispensing system must
be registered with the board under this chapter and in the manner
prescribed by the board.
(b)The board shall establish minimum standards and practices that
ensure the safety, accuracy, security, record keeping, and patient
confidentiality of an automated dispensing system.
