Text
After a client has given birth, the certified direct entry midwife shall:
(1)provide the client with a statement indicating that the newborn
infant should be examined by a pediatrician or family practice
physician for checkups beginning within two (2) weeks after
birth; and
(2)identify with the client a pediatrician or family practice
physician for the care of the infant.
