§ 25-23-1-29 — Practitioners of Church of Christ Scientist
Indiana·Title 25 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS·Art. 23 NURSES·Ch. 1 Licensing of Nurses; Creation of Board; Education
(a)This chapter does not apply to a nurse
practicing in accordance with the practice and principles of the body
known as the Church of Christ Scientist.
(b)A sanitarium, nursing home, or rest home provided that it is
listed and certified by the Commission for Accreditation of Christian
Science Nursing Organizations/Facilities, Inc. does not have to comply
with any rule adopted by the board, except a rule that concerns the
following:
(1)The sanitary and safe conditions of the premises.
(2)The cleanliness of operation.
(3)The physical equipment.
(c)The chapter does not apply to a person if:
(1)the person is licensed as a nurse in another jurisdiction;
(2)the person is employed by an individual, an agency, or a legal
business entity located in that jurisdiction;
