Text
(a)In addition to meeting all the
requirements of section 1 of this chapter except subsection (i), an
applicant for licensure who:
(1)has been graduated from a medical school outside the United
States, its possessions, or Canada; and
(2)submits evidence satisfactory to the board that prior to passing
the examination the applicant has successfully completed a
minimum of at least two (2) years of postgraduate training in a
hospital or an institution located in the United States or Canada
which meets the standards approved by the nationally recognized
medical or osteopathic accrediting bodies in the United States, for
the purpose of graduate training which is approved by the board;
is entitled to receive an unlimited license to practice medicine or
osteopathic medicine.
