The examination required of all applicants for registration as a professional surveyor must be a written or computer based examination divided into the following two (2) parts:
(1)The basic disciplines part of the examination, which must be
designed to test the applicant's knowledge of the basic disciplines
of surveying. The standard of proficiency required must
approximate that attained by graduation in an approved four (4)
year surveying curriculum.
(2)The principles and practice part of the examination, which
must be designed primarily to test the principles and practice of
surveying. The principles and practice part of the examination
must be divided into two (2) sections as follows:
(A)The first section must test the applicant's understanding,
judgment, and ability to correctly app
