§ 25-21.5-5-2 — Qualifications for registration

To qualify for registration as a professional
surveyor, an applicant must meet the following conditions under either
subdivision (1) or (2):
(1) All of the following:
(A) Graduation in an approved surveying curriculum.
(B) A specific record of at least four (4) years of experience in
surveying work that is acquired subsequent to graduation and
that indicates that the applicant is qualified to be placed in
responsible charge of surveying work requiring the exercise of
judgment in the application of surveying sciences to the sound
solution of surveying problems.
(C) The successful passing of an examination under IC 25-21.5-6.
(2) All of the following:
(A) A specific record of at least eight (8) years of surveying
education and experience in surveying work that indicates that
the applicant has acquired knowledge and skill and practical
experience in surveying work approximating that required for
registration as a professional surveyor under subdivision (1).
(B) The successful passing of an examination under IC 25-21.5-6.
