Text

An application by an individual or a firm that is not a resident of Indiana for a certificate under IC 25-2.1-3 or IC 25-2.1-4 or a permit to practice under IC 25-2.1-5 constitutes appointment of the secretary of state as the applicant's agent on whom process may be served in an action or proceeding against the applicant arising out of a transaction or operation connected with or incidental to the practice of accountancy by the applicant within Indiana.
