Text

(a)A funeral director may submit a written application to the board requesting that the funeral director's license be classified as inactive. On receipt of the application, the board shall grant the request by placing the license on inactive status until reinstated to active status.
(b)A person holding an inactive license may not engage in the practice of funeral service.
(c)A person who engages in the practice of funeral service with an inactive license is subject to IC 25-15-8-24.
