Text

(a)Except as provided in subsection (b), the board may issue a license to an applicant for licensure as a dietitian under this article if the applicant presents evidence that the applicant has been issued a license in a state that has requirements for licensure that are, by the board's determination, equivalent to the requirements for licensure in Indiana. An applicant applying for a license under this subsection is not required to take an examination given by the board under IC 25-14.5-5.
(b)The board may refuse to issue a license under subsection (a) if the applicant has failed an examination given by the board under IC 25-14.5-5.
(c)The fee an applicant for licensure must pay for a license issued under subsection (a) shall be set by the board under IC 25-14.5-2-5.
