Text

(a)A person desiring to begin the practice of dentistry in Indiana shall procure from the board a license to practice dentistry in Indiana. Except as provided in section 4.5 of this chapter, to procure the license, the applicant must submit to the board proof of graduation from a dental college recognized by the board. The board may recognize dental schools accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association, if the board is satisfied that the recognition is consistent with the board's requirements. Every applicant must pass an examination administered by an entity approved by the board and may not take the examination more than three (3) times.
