§ 25-1-7-1 — Definitions

The following terms are defined for this chapter:
(1)"Board" means the appropriate entity described in IC 25-0.5-8.
(2)"Director" refers to the director of the division of consumer
protection.
(3)"Division" refers to the division of consumer protection, office
of the attorney general.
(4)"Law enforcement agency" has the meaning set forth in IC 35-47-15-2.
(5)"Licensee" means a person who is:
(A)licensed, certified, or registered by an entity described in IC 25-0.5-8; and
(B)the subject of a complaint filed with the division.
(6)"Person" means an individual, a partnership, a limited liability
company, or a corporation.
(7)"Regulated occupation" means an occupation in which a
person is licensed, certified, or registered by one (1) of the entities
described in IC 25-0.5-8.
