2.
(a)A board or agency regulating a
profession or occupation under this title or under IC 16 or IC 22 shall
require that at least one-half (1/2) of all continuing education
requirements must be allowed by distance learning methods, except for
doctors, nurses, chiropractors, optometrists, and dentists.
(b)An individual who is called to active duty (as defined by IC 25-1-12-2) must be allowed to fulfill all continuing education
requirements for professional or occupational licenses administered
through the Indiana professional licensing agency by distance learning
methods.
