§ 25-1-20-3 — Health care provider not subject to discipline for certain acts

Except as provided in section 4 of this chapter, a health care provider is not subject to professional discipline under IC 25-1-7 or IC 25-1-9 for any of the following:
(1)Health care services provided in response to or arising from a
state disaster emergency declared under IC 10-14-3-12 to respond
to COVID-19.
(2)An act or omission of the health care provider committed with
respect to the provision, withholding, delay, or withdrawal of
health care services in response to or arising from a state disaster
emergency declared under IC 10-14-3-12 to respond to
COVID-19.
(3)Compliance with an executive order or local health order
issued in response to or arising from a state disaster emergency
declared under IC 10-14-3-12 to respond to COVID-19.
(4)An injury, a death, or a loss to a person
