Text
(a)The board may refuse to issue a license
or may issue a probationary license to an applicant for licensure if:
(1)the applicant has:
(A)been disciplined by a licensing entity of another state or
jurisdiction; or
(B)committed an act that would have subjected the applicant
to the disciplinary process if the applicant had been licensed in
Indiana when the act occurred; and
(2)the violation for which the applicant was or could have been
disciplined has a bearing on the applicant's ability to competently
perform or practice the profession in Indiana.
(b)The board may:
(1)refuse to issue a license; or
(2)issue a probationary license;
to an applicant for licensure if the applicant practiced without a license
in violation of the law.
