§ 23-6-4-3 — "Lending institution" defined

As used in this chapter, "lending institution"
means a bank or trust company, industrial loan and investment
company, credit union, savings bank, bank of discount and deposit,
small loan company, savings association, insurance company or related
corporation, partnership, limited liability company, foundation, pension
fund, or other institution engaged primarily in lending or investing
funds.
