§ 23-2-6-33 — Penalties
Indiana·Title 23 BUSINESS AND OTHER ASSOCIATIONS·Art. 2 SECURITIES AND FRANCHISES·Ch. 6 Indiana Commodity Code
(a)A person who knowingly violates:
(1)this chapter; or
(2)any rule or order issued or adopted by the commissioner under
this chapter;
commits a Level 5 felony.
(b)A person who violates a rule or an order issued or adopted under
this chapter may be assessed a civil penalty of up to ten thousand
dollars ($10,000).
(c)The commissioner may refer any evidence concerning violations
of this chapter or violations of any rule or order issued or adopted by
the commissioner to any prosecuting attorney in Indiana.
