§ 23-14-31-46 — Commingling of cremated remains
Except with the express written permission of the authorizing agent, a person shall not do the following:
(1)Dispose of cremated remains in a manner or location that
commingles the cremated remains with the cremated remains of
another individual. This prohibition does not apply to the
scattering of cremated remains at sea or in the air.
(2)Place the cremated remains of more than one (1) individual in
the same temporary container or urn.
