Text
(a)A benefit corporation may identify in its
articles of incorporation one (1) or more specific public benefits that it
is the purpose of the benefit corporation to create in addition to the
benefit corporation's purposes under IC 23-1-21-2 and section 1 of this
chapter.
(b)The identification of a specific public benefit under subsection
(a)does not limit the purpose of a benefit corporation to create general
public benefit under section 1 of this chapter.
