Text
(a)Each applicable state fiscal year, the
department, in consultation with the commission for higher education,
shall determine the following with respect to each school corporation:
(1)Each student who:
(A)was enrolled in the school corporation in the state fiscal
year before the immediately preceding state fiscal year; and
(B)successfully completed a dual credit or dual enrollment
course.
The amount of a school corporation's grant based on a student
described under this subdivision is equal to, for the state fiscal
year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026, the
number of credit hours completed by the student multiplied by
forty dollars ($40), but may not exceed one thousand two hundred
dollars ($1,200).
(2)Each student who:
