ARTICLE VIII. STATE COORDINATION

A.A member state shall create a state council or use an existing body or board to coordinate the actions of government agencies, local education agencies, and military installations concerning the state's participation in and compliance with this compact and interstate commission activities. A state council created under this section must include at least the following members:
1.The state superintendent of education.
2.A superintendent of a school district with a high concentration of children of military families. If a member state does not contain a school district with a high concentration of children of military families, a superintendent of a school district to represent local education agencies.
3.A representative of a military installation.
