8.As used in this chapter, "preadvanced placement" education refers to set professional development resources and services that equip all middle school, junior high school, and high school teachers with the strategies and tools they need to engage students in active, high level learning to ensure the students develop skills, habits, and concepts needed to succeed in advanced placement courses.
