(a)Each principal or school administrator in a nonpublic school that is attended by a student who is subject to the compulsory school attendance law under this chapter shall furnish, on request of the secretary of education, the number of students by grade level attending the school.
(b)If:
(1)a student withdraws from a nonpublic school; and
(2)no public or other nonpublic school has requested the student's educational records within fifteen (15) school days after the date the student withdrew from school; the nonpublic school shall report to the secretary of education or the superintendent of the school corporation in which the nonpublic school is located, the name and address of the student and the date the student withdrew from school.
