Text

(a)Each student participating in the technology preparation curriculum or the college preparation curriculum under IC 20-30-10 may elect to pursue a certificate of achievement in an academic area. Unless the governing body requires the acquisition of secondary level academic certificates of achievement for graduation, the certificates of achievement are not a requirement for graduation.
(b)For every secondary level technical education program for which an appropriate secondary level technical certificate of achievement is available, each student is required to undergo the appropriate technical certificate of achievement assessment.
