Text

The secretary of education shall appoint an academic standards committee composed of:

(1)subject area teachers with subject matter expertise;
(2)higher education representatives with subject matter expertise;
(3)employers; and
(4)parents; that is racially and geographically diverse during the period when a subject area is undergoing revision. [Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-10.1-16-6.]
