§ 20-30-9-1 — "Bilingual-bicultural instruction"

As used in this chapter, "bilingual-bicultural instruction" means the use of written and spoken English and a non-English language to teach students. It includes instruction in the history and culture of both the United States and the homeland of the non-English language.
