Text

(a)A student instructional day in grades 1 through 6 consists of at least five (5) hours of instructional time. Except as provided in subsection (b), (c), or (d), a student instructional day in grades 7 through 12 consists of at least six (6) hours of instructional time.
(b)Except as provided in subsection (c), an instructional day for a school flex program under section 2.2 of this chapter consists of a minimum of three (3) hours of instructional time.
(c)A student instructional day for a qualified high school (as defined in IC 20-24.2-1-3) consists of any amount of instructional time.
(d)A high school student who is enrolled in at least twelve (12) credit hours of on-campus dual credit courses (as described in IC 21-43-1-2.5) is not required to comply with subsection (a) during the s
