1.

(a)The board shall appoint an executive director to carry out the duties and daily operations of the board. The executive director may be removed by the board for just cause.
(b)The executive director's duties include the following:
(1)To establish a principal office in Indianapolis.
(2)To conduct any administrative function on behalf of the board with respect to any hearing, investigation, inquiry, election, or review, including designating a staff person or ad hoc panel member to serve as an agent of the board for any of the following:
(A)Hearing examiner.
(B)Hearing officer.
(C)Factfinder.
(D)Compliance officer.
(E)Financial consultant. The executive director may conduct additional related administrative functions under this subdivision.
