Text
(a)The department shall establish a program
under which an individual may obtain a license that allows the
individual to teach in school corporations and charter schools in
Indiana if the individual holds a bachelor's degree or a graduate degree
with a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 point scale from an
accredited postsecondary educational institution with both of the
following:
(1)A major in any combination of the following:
(A)Science.
(B)Technology.
(C)Engineering.
(D)Mathematics.
(2)An education minor or concentration from an accredited
teacher preparation program recognized by the state board of
education as preparing educators to meet requirements for
licensure.
(b)The program established under subsection (a) must allow the
individual to teach in a school corpora
