The transition to teaching program is established to accomplish the following:

(1)Facilitate the transition into the teaching profession of competent professionals and recent college graduates in fields other than teaching.

(2)Allow competent professionals and recent college graduates to be issued a teaching license through participation in and satisfactory completion of the program. [Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-6.1-3-11(b).]
