§ 20-28-10-14 — Teacher's freedom of association

Indiana·Title 20 EDUCATION·Art. 28 SCHOOL TEACHERS·Ch. 10 Conditions of Employment
(a)A school corporation may not dismiss or suspend any employee because of affiliation with or activity in an organization unless that organization advocates:
(1)the overthrow of the United States government by:
(A)force; or
(B)the use of violence; or
(2)the violation of law; to achieve its objective.
(b)A rule or regulation contrary to subsection (a) is void. [Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-6.1-6-13.]
