Text

(a)A school bus or special purpose bus sold or delivered in Indiana must meet the standards of construction and equipment set forth in the rules of the committee.
(b)A school bus may not be originally licensed in Indiana until the school bus has been inspected by the state police department and found to comply with these standards. [Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-9.1-4-10.]
