§ 20-27-13-4 — Minimum distance

Transportation provided in a transportation
program required under section 3 of this chapter may be limited by the
school corporation's governing body to children residing a minimum
distance from a school if the governing body includes facts in the
resolution setting the minimum distance that demonstrate that each
child residing less than the minimum distance from the school can
safely walk to and from the school unattended by an adult during the
regular hours that the child would ordinarily be coming to or from the
school.
