Text

The governing body of a school corporation or the equivalent for a charter school or accredited nonpublic school may do the following for the school corporation, charter school, or accredited nonpublic school police department:

(1)Appoint school corporation, charter school, or accredited nonpublic school police officers.
(2)Prescribe the duties and direct the conduct of school corporation, charter school, or accredited nonpublic school police officers.
(3)Prescribe distinctive uniforms.
(4)Provide emergency vehicles.
