Text
(a)This section applies to a school city
described in IC 20-25-2-12.
(b)All real estate belonging to a school city that:
(1)consists of lots and buildings on the real property of the school
city; and
(2)has not been used for school purposes for at least five (5)
years;
may be transferred to and placed under the jurisdiction of the board of
park commissioners of the city in which the school city is located and
must be operated, managed, controlled, and maintained as a recreation
center for the use and benefit of the city.
