Text
(a)The government, management, and control
of all common schools and common school libraries in the school city
are vested in a board of school commissioners that consists of seven (7)
school commissioners.
(b)The corporate name of the school city is "The Board of School
Commissioners of the City of ____________" (the blank being filled
with the name of the civil city), and by that corporate name the school
city shall:
(1)contract;
(2)be contracted with;
(3)sue; and
(4)be sued.
