Text

(a)This section does not apply to the following:
(1)To an organizer that operates two (2) or more charter schools unless all charter schools operated by the organizer are located within the same county.
(2)To the organizer of a virtual charter school.
(3)To an innovation network school under IC 20-25.7.
(b)This section does not apply to a public meeting in which the governing board participates in the public meeting by means of electronic communication.
(c)Beginning July 1, 2021, the organizer of one (1) or more charter schools that are located within the same county must hold at least fifty percent (50%) of the public meetings of the governing board of the charter schools within the county in which the charter schools are located.
