§ 20-24-6-3 — Collective bargaining permitted

(a)Employees of a charter school may organize
and bargain collectively under IC 20-29.
(b)This subsection applies to a conversion charter school. For any
collective bargaining agreement under IC 20-29 entered into after July
1, 2015, a governing body is not bound by its collective bargaining
agreement for employees of a conversion charter school. Employees of
a conversion charter school may organize and collectively bargain only
as a unit separate from other school employees under IC 20-29.
